ArtefactDescription'House' shaped black stone amulet; object
'House' shaped black stone amulet; object has a gabled roof with tapered edges above an elongated handle ending in a suspension loop. Condition is good but there is slight damage to the end of the object. This 'house' shaped amulet is exceptionally unusual but matches the apparent appearance of Halaf buildings based on images found at Tell al'Ubaid and Domuztepe.

Area D is especially ambiguous and was recorded to contain predominately Halaf burials and occupation, but there is very little information about the first 2.5m where there is mentioned to be Uruk pottery but with no discussion. As such given the form and the Halaf parallels it will be assigned to ArpMid.
